Potato and Sausage Baked Casserole recipe





This hearty casserole is one of my family's favourites. Using only a few ingredients, this comforting dish is super easy to prepare, but packs a ton of flavour.

The combination of smoked sausages and potatoes topped with cheese is also a real crowd pleaser - perfect for pot luck dinners!



Potato and Sausage Baked Casserole

Ingredients:

1 pack (400g) smoked pork sausages - sliced thinly
1 onion - chopped finely
4 cloves garlic - minced
4 potatoes - quartered and sliced thinly
1 can (170g) double cream
salt and pepper
olive oil
1 cup shredded cheese

Method:
  1. Preheat oven to 180 ℃
  2. Arrange onion, garlic, potatoes, sausage in a large baking dish
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk double cream, olive oil, salt and pepper
  4. Pour cream mixture into baking dish, toss everything together, coat well with the dressing
  5. Bake for 30 minutes, stirring once halfway through
  6. Top with shredded cheese, bake until all are cooked and cheese has melted and browned
