Kuala Lumpur - Eating out with Kids - Pavilion Mall
We were never short of dining options whilst in KL, there's food at every corner, be it food court, fast food chains or mid-range to expensive restaurants.
Our favourite dining options are the ones found in PAVILION MALL. It is a slightly upscale shopping mall with a good mix of high street and expensive shops and numerous dining establishments.
We were there on a daily basis to try out the various cuisines on offer. I really liked the cool, relaxing vibe of the eateries - ranging from cozy coffee shops, quick bites, classy bars and family-friendly restaurants.
We had a delightful Western fair one night.
The kids' choice - Japanese comfort food, another night.
We also had Ippudo for their silky, al dente ramen cooked in flavoursome pork broth. Worth queueing up for!
Our FAVOURITE of all has to be the Korean fried chicken restaurant KYOCHON at Level 1, which we absolutely loved.
The BEST Korean fried chicken we've ever had!
The chicken wings are crispy on the outside and tender and moist inside, all cooked in a perfect blend of sweet soy.
For the chilli lover, the spicy wings are mouth-wateringly fiery!
Do not miss it as it is not yet available in Singapore. The queue can get very long so book a table early!
If you are looking for some quick bites on the budget, the Food Court on Level 1 is massive with lots of stalls serving local and international food. It was extremely crowded each time we were there so we never got to try any.
There were also lots of snacks stalls around, and we tried this Japanese Apple pie croissant. Simply delicious.
The dining options at Pavilion Mall are endless. Despite being there every day, we never got tired of the food on offer and there was still plenty more that we sadly did not manage to try. Definitely must go when you are in KL!
