Langkawi is a family-friendly destination, featuring wild jungles and pristine white sand, located off the coast of Malaysian Borneo. We stayed at The Andaman Resort , which is cosily tucked away between a 10 million year old rainforest and fringing coral reef at the tranquil Datai Bay. The Datai Bay is rated as one of National Geographic's top 10 beaches in the world, and I can see why..... The beach has the softest clean white sand, clear blue waters and breath-taking views. Our Executive Pool Suite was clean, comfortable and massive. A king bed on one side, and separated by double doors was a large sofa bed that managed to fit 2 of my boys. BUT the biggest bonus of the room has to be our own private PLUNGE POOL! The boys never got tired of jumping and playing in the pool.
