Langkawi Cable Car, also known as Langkawi SkyCab, is located on the Southwest coast of the island, which is approximately 15 minutes drive from the airport and 45 minutes from The Andaman Resort. It is the number ONE attraction in Langkawi and also THE ONLY thing that managed to entice our family to step out of the comforts of our luxurious resort ! And what can I say... my little one has an obsession with all things cable car . The entrance to the cable car station is at the Oriental Village , located at the foothill of Machinchang mountain. This is where the ticket counter is located, as well as a few other attractions, some restaurants and food courts, and small shops. There are a few restaurants serving local and international food, but we chose to eat at the food court as we wanted to have a quick meal. Fortunately, the food served here was freshly-cooked, delicious and good value.   I have no idea why the little one was so engrossed studying the menu! ...

Name Doodling This is for my little one... Just because he inspires me :)

Langkawi is a family-friendly destination, featuring wild jungles and pristine white sand, located off the coast of Malaysian Borneo. It offers just the right balance of adventure and relaxation, set against the most idyllic backdrop. We stayed at The Andaman Resort , which is cosily tucked away between a 10 million year old rainforest and fringing coral reef at the tranquil Datai Bay. The Datai Bay is rated as one of National Geographic's top 10 beaches in the world, and I can see why..... The beach has the softest clean white sand, clear blue waters and breath-taking views. Our Executive Pool Suite was clean, comfortable and massive. A king bed on one side, and separated by double doors was a large sofa bed that managed to fit 2 of my boys. There are monsters everywhere..... I loved this window display when I saw it - I just knew my kids would find it amusing, especially the little one. He's been fascinated with all things monsters since he discovered that Halloween is round the corner and there are all sorts of scary masks, weapons, spiders, scary toys and decorations on sale everywhere we go lately. I just had to make something similar to amuse him . Added some simple tangles to make it more fun and mysterious. A few minutes a day is all I need to doodle and unwind. Finally. Zentangle Doodle Halloween Monster Eyes Doodling and tangling are just so incredibly fun and relaxing. My kids like to watch me doodle and give comments or suggestions along the way. What makes it even more exciting is we never know what the end result will look like as I don't like to rush the picture but rather let it progress over a few doodling sessions.
