Kuala Lumpur with Kids - Kidzania KL

On our last day in KL, we spent it at Kidzania - at the kids' insistence!

The boys much preferred the Kidzania in KL, as it is less crowded and the staff are more relaxed than its Singapore counterpart. This meant that the boys could do many more jobs in one visit than when they were in Singapore.

The 2 older brothers had been to Kidzania a few times before, and quickly ran off to do the activities they wanted. The queue to work in McDonalds is always very long and slots are snapped up quickly, so this is the one job that you should queue up early and get a slot first before going around to do other jobs.

It was the little one's first time coming to Kidzania though and there were not many jobs he could partake in. At his age, he also wasn't too keen on waiting around, queueing up and doing jobs that he didn't quite understand, although he kept asking the staff "Where's my money", "Can I have some money please"....  He obviously didn't get the concept of working to earn money yet! 😆

But the 2 brothers took turns to accompany him to do some jobs.

And the little one managed to do his favourite job - to man a toll booth where he could operate the barrier! That's like a dream come true for him, as he is absolutely fascinated by barriers at the moment.

Other than the few activities he did, the little one spent most of his time in the Toddler section, where there is a fun house with a ball pit, mini kitchen, inflatable bed and various toys.

My family loves Kidzania for its staggering level of detail, and how they try to make the jobs and activities as close to the real world as possible. Minimal parent involvement meant that the kids have to be resourceful in completing their own tasks. And we parents can take a breather in the parents lounge, with a peace of mind that they are safe and entertained for hours.

Considering that Kidzania is so much cheaper in Malaysia than in Singapore, I definitely recommend bringing your kids while you are there.

Do book your tickets in advance online as they are cheaper and they have promotions every now and then.

It took us about 20 minutes by Uber to get there.
