Potato and Sausage Baked Casserole recipe
This hearty casserole is one of my family's favourites. Using only a few ingredients, this comforting dish is super easy to prepare, but packs a ton of flavour.
The combination of smoked sausages and potatoes topped with cheese is also a real crowd pleaser - perfect for pot luck dinners!
Potato and Sausage Baked Casserole
Ingredients:
1 pack (400g) smoked pork sausages - sliced thinly
1 onion - chopped finely
4 cloves garlic - minced
4 potatoes - quartered and sliced thinly
1 can (170g) double cream
salt and pepper
olive oil
1 cup shredded cheese
Method:
Preheat oven to 180 ℃- Arrange onion, garlic, potatoes, sausage in a large baking dish
- In a mixing bowl, whisk double cream, olive oil, salt and pepper
- Pour cream mixture into baking dish, toss everything together, coat well with the dressing
- Bake for 30 minutes, stirring once halfway through
- Top with shredded cheese, bake until all are cooked and cheese has melted and browned
